The 45th Annual Conference of UACES (Univeristy Association for Contemporary European Studies) took place in Bilbao, Spain between 7-9 September. At the large-scale conference hosting several hundred researchers and about 150 panels, the members of the Lendület-HPOPs Research Group - Czina Veronika, Fekete Balázs, Horváthy Balázs, Nyircsák Adrienn és Varju Márton - representd the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Center for Social Sciences with great success.
The research group prepared four panels for the conference, all of which dealt with the national interest in EU law and governance from difference perspectives (theoretical, economic, constitutional, regulatory). In the panels organized by the Lendület-HPOPs, some members of the International Research Network of the Research Group have also participated, coming from hihg-ranking Western European universities.
The conference can be considered a success both from an academic and networking perspective, because on the one hand the Research Group experienced a huge interest towards their panels from the audence, and on the other hand because potential international cooperations has been formed during those few days in Bilbao.
